MY TWO CENTS:

November 19, 2005…Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It has been 58 days since my last confession. In that time I have entertained evil thoughts about my holy government, I have questioned the veracity of my appointed leaders and I have doubted the media-sponsored reality that has been peddled to me.  In short, I have thought things that no man should think.  For these many sins, most assuredly, I am damned.

 Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.

 Forgive me father, for I have watched the videos and witnessed World Trade Center 7 falling once again…and again…and again…A standard steel frame structure in freefall, dropping straight into its own footprint.  A 47-story building where fires were described as being limited to isolated regions of two floors.  Forgive me Father for my doubts, for no other steel framed structure of its type has fallen from flames before. Not even the 32-story Windsor building in Madrid, which burned for two full days. 

 Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.

 Surely, my sin is clear…I have placed my faith in you Father, however, I have accepted the damnable doctrines of elementary physics and angular momentum.  I have shamed you, O Lord, by accepting the fact that all 57 perimeter columns and 24 core columns would have to be destroyed simultaneously to cause a building to drop in such a smooth, controlled fashion only 6/10ths of a second slower than freefall. 

 Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for this sinner now, and at the hour of my death…for I have believed the false doctrine of the Second Law of Thermodynamics  which indicates that a complete symmetrical collapse due to random fires is exceedingly small and that asymmetrical failure would be much more likely. Clearly, I am lost… for I have accepted the heretical arguments of Steven E. Jones, Professor of Physics at Brigham Young University,  who claims that WTC7 was brought down by a controlled demolition. Forgive me Father, for I have come to believe the so-called FACTS, and have rejected the STORY that I have been told to believe.  I have accepted that bands of evil men prey upon those who reject the truth due only to the fact that the truth is too horrible to believe.

Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for this sinner now, and at the hour of my death …for I have allowed the fact that setting up such a large, controlled demolition requires weeks of preparation, and this has caused me to wonder how the other two Trade Centers came down.

 Forgive me Father, for I have sinned, and damned myself by thinking.

September 22, 2005...Frankly, I am (not so) amazed at how the mainstream media is ignoring yet another story that is absolutely pregnant and full-term with all sorts of mysterious questions and considerations:  Why were two British commandos dressed up in Arab garb, driving a car full of weapons and explosives, and firing on Iraqi police?  Why were they arrested and detained in an Iraqi jail (by the Iraqi police who are being trained by the "coalition forces" to arrest and detain terrorists) ?  Why was the Iraqi jail then surrounded by British forces and attacked, resulting in the escape of numerous prisoners?  THINK ABOUT IT!!

***Two British Commandos, undercover in Arabic garb...blowing through an Iraqi police road block...firing on Iraqi police.

***The car...full of weapons, explosives, and other terrorist tools.

***They were legally arrested by Iraqi police for their criminal, terrorist activities...firing upon the "good guys."

***The Iraqi jail was surrounded by British forces, attacked, and a hole punched in the wall...in an attempt to free them (resulting in numerous prisoners escaping).

The way I figure it, there appear to be three primary explanations which are feasible.

1.  The two undercover British commandos were actively involved in the creation and management of terrorist events in and around Basra.

2.  The two undercover British commandos are involved in actively infiltrating, exposing, and eliminating terrorist cells in and around Basra, and they were "playing the part," but were arrested and detained.

c.  The two undercover British commandos are rogue elements with Islamic sympathies, which caused them to defect or to aid and abet terrorist cells in and around Basra.

Exploring the Three Possibilities

The third possibility is easily dismissed.  Rogue soldiers, who were either MIA or on leave, would not have had a retrieval operation put in place within 24 hours...nor is it likely that the British would have violated Iraqi law and attacked the Iraqi jail in an attempt to free the renegades.

The second possibility may be as likely as the first.  Nonetheless, we have to take a deeper look at what would likely be involved with two British commandos operating undercover.  It would seem to be more likely that such "undercover" operations would be the provenance of MI6 and the American CIA, as opposed to admitted military commando operations.  Successful undercover operations would necessarily entail a period of infiltration, networking, and a significant period of time spent developing the "cover" identity in order to mount an effective infiltration and elimination exercise. As British commandos operating in a theater of war, these soldiers are bound by Iraqi law to obey the laws of Iraq and the laws of the British military command.  I'm not positive on this point, but I feel it is safe to say that it is probably against the law for British commandos to fire upon the Iraqi police (while dressed in Arabic garb), and to be transporting weapons and explosives around Basra in a regular automobile.  It does make some sense, however, that commandos or MI6 forces who were actively involved in a military operation would be summarily rescued by their military in order to safeguard them from interrogation or mistreatment.  But then, that really begs the question...what was the military operation that required commandos dressed in Arabic garb, carrying a carload of explosives and weapons, that resulted in their firing upon the Iraqi police?  ...as opposed to revealing themselves as undercover British commandos involved in a military operation (safeguarding their own lives and the lives of those they were firing upon)? 

The first possibility just doesn't seem possible.  So, of course, since it just doesn't seem possible...it must not be.  There's no possibility that Al-Jazeera is right and that coalition forces are creating and managing terrorist attacks to justify remaining in Iraq (and helping to drive up oil prices).  After all...we're the "good guys" in this oppositional dialectic.  But then...I thought the Iraqi police were the good guys too.

But why think about these things? It's easier to just watch television and let them tell you what to think about...things like Hurricanes...INXS's new singer...Survivor...and whatever else the corporate media has decided that they want you to think about. Whatever you do...don't think for yourself. 

As George Orwell said:  "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act."   Don't rock the boat. Just go along with the herd. Go back to sleep now, and wake up believing whatever it is you want to believe.

September 13, 2005...This is a really good article...America is Bankrupt...and it certainly seems to reflect my own observations.  Having traveled to Canada, Israel, and England, my comparisons would seem to reflect the same conclusions. 

Interestingly, Bush is now taking full responsibility for the "obvious failings" and slow response of the Katrina recovery efforts. WHAT??!!??  I guess he can no longer effectively counter the REALITY that EVERYONE but he and his right wing entourage were aware of...that the US Government (from top to bottom) failed to adequately prepare and failed to adequately respond to this disaster.  If you recall, it was less than a week ago that he asked Nancy Pelosi "What didn't go right?" when she was pointing out how badly things had gone.

I picked up a copy of God's Politics, by Jim Wallis. I must say that it is a very worthwhile read and I highly recommend it.

The Roberts confirmation hearings...from what I have seen and heard...seem to show the Democrats at their very worst. Talking over Roberts as he tries to answer...bringing up one subject and then another, and asking him to respond...and then immediately talking over him as he begins to respond, etc.  Frankly, I don't think Roberts should become Chief Justice (due to his lack of Supreme Court experience), but I fail to see the concern over his nomination.  From what little I have seen, the Democrats are simply coming off as mean-spirited haters.  But hey...both sides seem to sport that label pretty well.  We need something different.

September 8, 2005...Frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of the Democrat "blame game" going on. If you ignore the shrill voices on both sides of the aisle, what you find is that there was a massive failure all the way down the line...Local, State, Federal, AND Presidential...Democrat AND Republican...white AND black!  Likewise, I am sick and tired of the Republican response that the President and his staff have performed excellently.  The thing that sickens me most, however, is the number of voices on the right who blame the victims for not having evacuated.  People who have never experienced poverty or worked with the underprivileged have no clue that people living below poverty rarely have an extra $100 bucks in their pockets.  My favorite voice of compassion:  Barbara Bush at the Astrodome, saying with a chuckle, "...so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this, this is working very well for them."  

So...the question is...How many evacuees have been put up at the 1600 acre Bush ranch in Crawford?

After all...he's a compassionate conservative with all those millions in the bank.  Anybody have the count on the number of evacuees at the Crawford Ranch?

September 4, 2005...<addendum>...Well, Hollow Words is finally done and posted above. Enjoy. My next project will begin within the next week or so and will go in a very different direction.

On a much darker note, watch this Meet The Press video of Parish President Aaron Broussard in NOLA, and then ask yourself, "what in the name of God is FEMA doing in New Orleans?"  Turning back Water trucks?  Refusing to allow fuel shipments in?  Cutting communications lines?

September 4, 2005...AN AMERICAN PROPHECY...written a year ago in National Geographic.  Nonetheless, the media...despite numerous articles to the contrary over the past few years...lets Bush gets away with proclaiming that nobody could have foreseen the breaking of the levies. 

On a brighter note, I am finally finished with my latest project.  All that remains is to build the pre-loader (that thingy that tells you to hold your pants on while the video loads), and to make sure I publish it in such a way that it does exactly what I want it do when it plays.  The pre-loader should be done by tonight. If all goes well, I should publish it within the next few days.

September 3, 2005...Homeland Security is refusing to allow the Red Cross to deliver food to New Orleans.  Meanwhile, FEMA refuses to allow air-boaters in to rescue hurricane victims.  Oddly enough, HAM radio operators are reporting that frequency jamming is being aimed at New Orleans. Some estimates are indicating that deaths may exceed 100,000 people.  When the Tsunami hit, there were IMMEDIATE pictures all over the internet. There were IMMEDIATE high resolution satellite photos. These things are conspicuously absent following Hurricane Katrina.   Not so surprisingly, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) has already stated that he would call for congressional hearings into the federal government's complete lack of preparations and pathetic response...""I don't understand how you could have a situation where you've got several days' notice of an enormous hurricane building in the Gulf Coast, you know that New Orleans is 6 feet below sea level. ... The notion that you don't have good plans in place just does not make sense."  It seems like the only plan the federal government has is to turn New Orleans into a police state in order to "fight the insurgency."  Craig Roberts asks, quite rightly, "If this were a city that had been nuked by terrorists, where is the plan FEMA allegedly had for displaced persons?"

How much do you want to bet that the "official" death estimates come in ridiculously low in the corporo-government controlled media? 

Perhaps I should heed some recent well-meaning advice and think more positively...try not to think about all of Katrina's dead, and all the dead and maimed children in Iraq, and simply ignore the evidence of the illegal use of napalm in Fallujah, as well as the use of depleted uranium in Afghanistan and Iraq that is now causing birth defects in both those countries.  I wish I had it in me to be able to ignore the ugly side of reality.  However, I've always been one who would rather see the naked, ugly truth...as opposed to the rose-colored, gilded, bullshit that the masses consume like candy.  Give me the truth...no matter how ugly.

August 24, 2005...Only 680 more frames to go on my latest project.  It occurred to me a few days after the London bombing of 7/7 that the date was yet another sequence of 77 that I should add to my list of oddities of 77. Coincidence?  I no longer believe in that concept.  Just plain strange.

I must say I enjoyed the pictures of Bush riding with Lance Armstrong. Were there any pictures that made it off the grounds that DIDN'T show the President slightly in front of Lance?  It's all about the spin and controlling the images.  Pose the leader as being strong and out in front. Shape reality for the consumer.  I sure wish I had such a cake job that I could take 30+ days of vacation in a row. Five years in office and he's already taken over 300 days of vacation...that's nearly a year off...almost 1/5 of his time in office just goofing around. 

August 17, 2005...Progress is slowly being made on my next offering.  I just read Eric Blumrich's review of God's Politics, by Jim Wallis.  Looks like I'm going to be shelling out more money on yet another book.  Every day I shake my head in wonder that fellow Christians continue to support this pampered, silver-spoon poser.  When I first became a believer in Christ, I adopted a simple credo..."Say it with your life, or don't say a word."  Quite frankly, the life of George W. Bush is silent, but he sure has a lot of words.  None, however, for Cindy Sheehan.  Here's an excerpt of Eric's review:

August 15, 2005...I am still, slowly, working on my latest creation. The creative juices ebbed away, plus I went on vacation to the Grand Canyon, blah, blah, blah.  It's almost finished. Probably a couple more weeks. 

July 10, 2005...An interesting coincidence that  Underground Bombing 'Exercises' Took Place at Same Time as Real Attack in London.  Very reminiscent of the fact that NORAD was running Plane Hijacking Exercises prior to and on the date of 9/11.  Just a coincidence. Just another "conspiracy theory," because we all know that there are no such things as conspiracies and that government operates in the best interests of the people.  For all the doubters and nay-sayers, here's a video confirmation which clearly indicates that there were, indeed, identical exercise scenarios taking place in the London Underground. Let's see...that makes the probability 1 in 365 they would choose the same day...multiplied by 1 in 24 hours that they would have selected the same time frame...and let's not even go into the number of possible locations that could have been chosen. So...what are the odds?

Well, about 800-1000 frames, a little tweaking, and I'll be done with my latest work.  I'm at the point where I'm not exactly sure where to go with the last part. 

On a bright note, I finally heard some words of sanity, comfort, and dawning wisdom from the pulpit at my extremely conservative, right-wing, evangelical Church. The message was spot-on about how unfortunate it is that the gospel was somehow co-opted by the "right-wing, conservative, Republican party," during the last election. This from a purveyor of a right-wing, conservative perspective.  Is the Church beginning to wake up?

July 5, 2005...Karl Rove is a Traitor to the Constitution, and thus, a traitor to the United States of America.  He knowingly jeopardized the lives of American agents for the purposes of political backstabbing.   Lord of heaven, see how the wicked lay snares for the innocent. May your wrath fall upon them and may they shudder before your outstretched arm.  Open the eyes of the blind and let them see the slithery things that lead this nation.

July 4, 2005...TREASON!  A Federal Offense!  Karl Rove is one of the sources that leaked the name of CIA agent Valerie Plame, jeopardizing her, other agents in the field, and obliterating ongoing covert operations.  As usual, NOTHING will come of this violation...showing once again the power that is wielded over the human mind by the architects of madness.  Will America ever awaken to recognize the wretchedness and evil that parades around in full view calling itself righteousness?  Once upon a time, treason would have been dealt with swiftly...but not in the new Amerika.

June 17, 2005...If there was any remaining doubt in your mind that the American media is completely controlled and manipulated, it should now be gone. Why? The media blackout of the Downing Street Memo Hearings.  This memo reports on a meeting between Tony Blair and the head of MI-6 which clearly states that "...the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy" in order to take us to war in Iraq.   The fact that this MAJOR news story is relegated to the minor headlines (if at all) on ALL the on-line newspapers, as well as garnering scant coverage on CNN, points very clearly to the fact that the fix is in.  The AP and just about every news source I have read (most referencing the AP source) uses this interesting line:  "The intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy," one of the participants was quoted as saying at the meeting" as if to indicate that this quote merely emanates from one of the participants at yesterday's hearing. Anyone who has read the memo knows that this quotation is actually contained within the damning memo itself.  I guess Michael Jackson and Tom Cruise are just more important than the demise of our Democratic Republic.  DOWNING STREET MEMO...proof that the media is controlled. Proof that the American mind is manipulated and shaped by masters of propaganda.  Proof that we no longer have a free and unfettered press. The media may not be telling you what to think, but in the New American Century, they don't have to...they simply tell you what you will think ABOUT.  In the end, it's the same thing...and Democracy dies as idiots and knaves wave their flags and plaster magnets on the trunks of their cars.  Free your mind...turn off the news and think for yourself. Pursue the facts and ponder the questions that rise within you.

June 6, 2005...Nixon was impeached for ordering a break-in at the Democratic headquarters in the Watergate building, and then ordering it to be covered up. Number of associated American lives that were lost: ZERO.  The "Downing Street Memo," recently released in the UK, clearly indicates US duplicity in going to war with Iraq "...the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy"  A full year before we went to war, the the order was in to fix the facts to lead us into war. Number of associated American lives lost: 1,600 and counting. Impeachment? Not for murder...only adultery.  My main observation is this: the US media is completely owned!  If you want to know the truth about anything you have to go dig it up in foreign newspapers, websites, and blogs. 

• In February 2001, the CIA delivered a report to the White House that said: “We do not have any direct evidence that Iraq has used the period since Desert Fox to reconstitute its weapons of mass destruction programs.”

• Colin Powell, February 24, 2001: "[Saddam] has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors.

• Condoleeza Rice, July 2001: "We are able to keep his arms from him. His military forces have not been rebuilt."

On another subject...I'm 2/3 of the way finished with my next video project.

May 18, 2005...Well, I am nearly 1/3 of the way through the next piece. Lots of other things have been keeping me occupied. Fixing up the house, building a shed for all my junk, reading Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, getting geared up for Star Wars by watching all the episodes, etc.  Half the time I spend working on the thing is spent searching for decent images that aren't outdated as I'm trying to keep a focus on the ongoing destruction we have perpetrated in Iraq.  My favorite bumper-sticker this week is the yellow magnetic ribbon with the phrase "Support Meaningless Slogans."  I give thanks to God that my nephew has returned from Iraq unharmed. I'm truly proud of him. He went, faithfully did his duty, and has no problem telling others (if they ask) that he doesn't think we should be over there.

April 30, 2005...Again, thanks to those of you who have written. I appreciate the encouragement and support. I'm hard at work on my next project, but I'm only about 700 frames in, so it's going to be some time before it is finished. One of my new favorite sites is Information Clearinghouse. Tons of really good stuff. I was amazed to find the documentary film Orwell Rolls in His Grave posted there. Definitely a must-see. About 10 links down is a great interview with John Perkins, entitled Confessions of an Economic Hit-man; he's written a book of the same name which is a must-read for those who really want to know how the corporatocracy in America actually functions. 

April 19, 2005...Thanks to all of you who have written. It's nice to know that there are at least three or four people out there watching. Well, I lied about the next one being a long one. I had planned to rework the video I had been doing in Video Edit Magic, but I found another cool song that is only 3:45, so I'm going to work on that one instead. I'm dodging the aforementioned project because it's a six minute + song.  Laziness...the true mother of invention! It will still be a while. Lots of other peoples projects to work on, plus I'll need to mix the song with some tracks in ACID...of course, I first need to find the clips, cut the mixes, etc. Oh, the burden.  My current Buzz  Phrase about George Bush: "He's Evil...the fruit of a poisoned tree." One of these days, I'm really going to add some more articles to this page. Promise.

April 12, 2005...OK. Enough is enough...I'm done with the thing. I'm tired of it, and I don't like it anymore. So...to all three or four of you who actually view the thing...Enjoy!  My next project will probably be real big, so I doubt it will get kicked out until July or so...unless, of course, I am seized by the grip of my muse and find myself feverishly slaving over something that teeters on the edges of madness and obsession. Sometimes it happens.  When it does, I am en theos, and "I can feel His pleasure."  My favorite part of the past week...that Bush got booed at the Pope's funeral. Am I the only Christian that is aghast at the fact that Clinton, the adulterer, and Bush, the international terrorist, showed up at the funeral, while Jimmy Carter (who actually seems to be living out his Christian faith) was bumped by the entourage? 

How long, Oh Lord, before your people awaken from their slumber? Rise up, oh you sleepers! See the darkness which yawns before you. Satan comes as an angel of light...how much more his followers? A smile, kind words, a profession of faith...and a knife in the back shall be your reward. I can see it in his eyes...why can't you?

April 8, 2005...Well, it's finally done. So enjoy...all three or four of you.  It was more work than I figured on those last few frames. Lots of little glitches were noticeable upon publication, requiring lots of tweaks. Plus I got a new job doing IT consulting...so I've been way busy.  It's not like too many people really give a hoot anyway. The wolves are in the fold, and the sheep are too blind and stupid to even see it. What, EXACTLY, will it take for the Church to wake up and see what sort of cutthroats are actually running this country?  The guy I work with is pretty cool...even though he does lean real heavy in the Republican direction. He actually thinks if someone calls himself a Christian that we are supposed to give them the benefit of the doubt.  Jesus, however, advised his followers not to throw pearls before swine...clearly indicating that we are to make a judgment of sorts as to who the swine are.  Likewise, he told us "ye shall know a tree by its fruit," and the only fruit I see coming from the Bush junta are the rotten apples of propaganda, lies, spin, bullshit, and excuses. Quite frankly, any two-bit hustler can say "I love Jesus," and walk away with the offering box. The fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, Joy, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, faithfulness, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, and self-control. I just don't see these things in the President.  As quoted above, I think his father said it quite aptly: "If the people knew what we had done, they would chase us down the street and lynch us." Hear! Hear!

That said, "I'm gonna get me a gun and some rope...and if nobody else'll do it, me and you'll do it ourselves." [not a threat, just a tag line from The Oxbow Incident].

March 18, 2005...My latest Flash project is almost complete. Just another 500 frames or so, and a little tweaking, and I should have it up. The soundtrack is New American Century, by Sputnik Weazel.  I listened to a couple of their other songs, but definitely preferred Century as their best piece. I used a really cool looking retro-style propaganda poster in the new Flash project that references The Project For The Old American Century  Most definitely worth a visit. media such as the BBC or CNN have been killed or abducted in Iraq."  GO FIGGER.

March 3, 2005...I found it very interesting that Vladimir Putin, in his meeting with George Bush, criticized the firing of CBS reporters, indicating that America's Press isn't all that free. This was quickly seized upon by TIME and various other corporate media outlets as providing evidence that Putin does not understand our Democracy and how the American media functions independently of government. Thus, it seems that we are being told that the former head of the KGB has no concept of how the American media actually operates. It seems more plausible to me to believe that he hit the nail square on the head.

February 23, 2005...How Blind Can Christians Be? is a pretty good article by Jim Moore. It is based on Stephen W. Carson's excellent article The Christian Case For War. Mr. Carson does a great job delineating the odd assortment of reasons that Evangelicals give for being in support of President Bush and his war-mongering. He makes...to me anyway... a fascinating statement in his article that he personally maintains a conservative theology and a passionate commitment to Christ, but that he made a "paradigm shift" wherein he remains in agreement on core values with fellow believers, but views current events, and the policies of President Bush,  much differently . I made this paradigm shift about two years ago. I was once an extreme right-wing, Bush-supporter. Until the last election, I had always voted Republican. I was a big Rush Limbaugh fan. In my previous paradigm, Bush could do no wrong. Then came the shift. Now I find that I am part of a very small minority group...an evangelical Christian who recognizes George W. Bush as a poser. A liar. A con-man. Nonetheless, I am glad to see the truth, because in the time known as "the end of days," the entire world would worship the Beast...all except those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. So who or what is the Beast? Pretty simple...WE IS...the USA.  George Orwell once said, "In a time of universal deceit, speaking the truth is a revolutionary act." Viva la Revolucion!

February 21, 2005...My main concern about this whole Jeff Gannon/James Guckert affair is this: Walking into the White House isn't quite as simple as just filling out a form to become a White House Press Correspondent, followed by them handing one over. In the post-911 USA, it would seem certain that an extensive background check would have been completed. As such, why wasn't this thing uncovered by the White House prior to it becoming an issue?  Or was it? Then again...What issue? If this had happened in the Clinton White House, this matter would have filled the air-waves for months, with demands for heads-on-a-platter.   In the Bush White House, it sure doesn't seem to be getting the press that it deserves.  I mean, come on! ...this guy was a male prostitute and owner of Militarystuds.com. 

February 19, 2005...A REFLECTION:  THE WOUNDS I RECEIVED IN THE HOUSE OF MY BROTHER.  I can't completely disagree with my sibling's initial comment on my three video pieces..."I don't really care for it...it's too dark and depressing."  My response was, "That's reality...what we are doing in Iraq and the rest of the world is pretty dark and depressing." Then came a couple of well-meaning comments on how I should focus on more upbeat, positive things in the world, and that as a Christian, that's what I was supposed to be doing...shining my light and making the world a better place.  I guess I thought I was doing that...shining a light upon this present darkness, and trying to waken the sleeping masses that fail to recognize what is going on in our country. Then came the odd comment that Christians are to "submit to the leaders over them" and "honor those in authority," with the clear implication that my actions bordered on being unchristian or something.  Soviet dissident Yevgeny Yevtushenko once said, "When truth is replaced by silence, the silence is a lie."  As a matter of conscience, I found that I must speak out against evil instead of turning my head away from the gathering darkness that I see.  I've yet to find those biblical passages where prophets of the Old Testament held their tongues when they witnessed the King doing evil. In fact, Scripture seems to be replete with its holy men pointing out the wickedness of its leaders. "Oh, you brood of Vipers!" exclaimed Jesus to the Pharisees, and "You... are... the... man," proclaimed Nathan the prophet to David, his King.  In the end, I can only do that for which I was created... and I was created to see and speak the ugly truth. I can only mourn for the willful blindness of others, and pray that God will have mercy upon those who choose to remain ignorant because they felt the truth was uncomfortable or "too dark and depressing."

February 18, 2005..."You're like one of those conspiracy nutcases...like Mel Gibson in that movie. I suppose you wanna kill the President too...How many times have you read Catcher in  the Rye?"  To the best of my recollection, this was the exact quote. I listened...rather amused...and responded, "just once, I think...a pretty good book.... The President? Nah...but I wouldn't shed a tear if someone did take him out." It's amazing how people think they can sum you up with a few sarcastic, ignorant, cutting remarks. He probably never considered that Mel Gibson's character actually was being used by a rogue government organization, and that in the end, his "Conspiracy Theory" was proven correct. Oh well...I've pretty much given up on folks like him.  He's just another example of how there are none so blind as those who refuse to see...one of those 'Blue Pill' people we are surrounded by.

February 11, 2005...Once again, I was pondering over the oddities of 9/11, and the May 1, 2003 carrier speech of George W. Bush. I had noticed a number of strange circumstances related to American Airlines Flight 77 which hit the Pentagon, as well as a few other coincidental occurrences of the number 77. So I decided to write them up.

February 9, 2005...Is this crap really happening again?  I picked up my TIME magazine and saw the question, "Can the U.S. defuse Iran?"  and it brought all the memories flooding back. When I lived on the East coast, I had an acquaintance who worked for "The Company."  This person told me well before we had gone into Iraq that it would go like this..."Iraq...Iran...and Syria, (but not necessarily in that order)" and that the only thing required was for us to create the background story. Despite the fact that I knew this person wasn't full of crap, I took it with a grain of salt...and then I watched the first part of his story come true.   So just now I checked out CNN and saw that ugly-ass-cow-of-a-woman, Condi Rice, saying "Iran must live up to its international obligations to halt its nuclear program or the next steps are in the offing. "And I think everybody understands what the 'next steps' mean."  My question is this: WHO WILL DEFUSE THE U.S.?  We have become a world-menacing Empire, and the truth is not in us.
